New contract awarded for VA Clinics in Dickinson, Williston N.D.

Dickinson, Williston VA clinics moving to new locations in June 2018
FARGO, N.D. (Feb. 28, 2018) – The Fargo Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Care System has awarded a new contract for two contractor-owned and -operated VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) in Dickinson and Williston, N.D., to STG International, Inc. (STGi).
The new Dickinson VA CBOC will be located at 766 Elks Drive, Unit H, Dickinson, N.D. 58601. The new Williston VA CBOC will be located at 2119 2nd Avenue West, Williston, N.D. 58801.
Veterans are slated to transition to the new facilities for their appointments beginning summer of 2018. There will be no other change or interruption in medical services to Veterans. All Veteran medical records will be transferred to the new locations. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Both clinics will be approximately 6,300 square feet, featuring the same range of services as the previous VA CBOCs in Williston and Dickinson to include:
• Primary care services
• Behavior health services
• Preventive health services
• Laboratory: blood drawing services available
• Prescriptions: routine prescriptions processed through the mail, My HealtheVet, or by telephone
• Three telehealth exam rooms
• Free parking on site
• Handicapped accessible
“The new clinics in Dickinson and Williston will continue to provide timely, high-quality VA care to our Veteran patients who have earned that service through their commitment and sacrifice,” said Lavonne Liversage, Fargo VA Health Care System Director. “We are eager to open the doors of the new clinics and anticipate a very smooth transition for our Veterans.”
There are expected to be more than 9,000 patient visits annually at the new Dickinson and Williston VA CBOCs.

Employees at existing clinics under the prior contractor will be invited to apply for positions with STGi. A job fair seeking qualified candidates to work at the new clinics will be held March 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Williston and March 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Dickinson. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available through the contractor for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, licensed clinical social workers, clinic managers, registered nurses, licensed practical/vocational nurses, phlebotomists, telehealth technicians and medical assistants.
