The University of Arizona will be hosting a U.S. Veterans Wheelchair Sports Camp for Individuals with SCI/D currently scheduled for October 8-14, 2012 at The University of Arizona. The Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) Education Foundation Grant #681 covers all camp and travel-related costs for veterans.
All U.S. veterans with spinal cord injuries and diseases (SCI/D) are eligible with preference for newer injuries (0-3 years) and/or individuals who may eventually consider enrolling in college. While adaptive athletics are important, the goal is for individuals to also be exposed to college culture.
