The North Central Chapter PVA has been approached by an anonymous donor who would like to offer one or more Big Game Hunts that we are calling the Veteran’s Honor Hunt in western South Dakota in September 2010. These Big Game Hunts could include elk, buffalo, sheep and more. This hunt will be offered to ANY Veteran who has served in the U.S. Military and now has a physical disability. The Donor of this Veteran’s Honor Hunt will pick a veteran from the applications that are received in the Chapter Office. Again, please feel free to attach any additional information that you would like to share about your military service, disability, and how this hunt would impact your life. All applications should be returned to North Central Chapter PVA Application deadline is June 30, 2010. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity so we encourage all disabled veterans who enjoy hunting to apply for this hunt! The North Central Chapter Paralyzed Veterans of America/South Dakota Firefighters are sponsoring the 9th Annual Walleye Fishing Tournament in Chamberlain, SD on May 27-28, 2010. There is no entry fee for Firefighters/Volunteers, North Central Chapter PVA members, and disabled anglers who would like to participate in this event. This tournament will be limited to the first 25 disabled anglers who respond. All participants must have a valid South Dakota Fishing License.
