SD State Fair - Veterans Day
Date:9/2/2010 12:00:00 AMHuron, SD. Free Admission for Veterans on Thursday, Sept. 2nd. The SD State Fair has designated Thursday, Sept. 2nd as a tribute to Veterans and active military. Veterans and active military will be provided free admission to the fair that day. A "Salute to Veterans" will be held at 10:30 a.m. on the Northwestern Endery Freedom Stage. The SD Veterans Council will be presenting the "Chester Sorensen Veteran of the Year Award"

Rolling Thunder-Black Hills National Cemetery
Date:8/14/2010 12:00:00 AMBlack Hills National Cemetery Director Sara Elton informs us that Rolling Thunder of South Dakota will be at the Black Hills National Cemetery on Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 1:00 pm (MT). Rolling Thunder honors prisoners of war and those missing in action in all wars. Their ceremony on the 14th is open to the public.
